Swimming is a life long gift that Scouting BSA has been promoting since its inception. Not only is it a fun and enjoyable way to spend time with your fellow scouts, it can save your life in a situation where you find yourself in the water.
Here at Troop 91G, we encourage all of our scouts to work toward their Swimmer classification level. This will open up new opportunities and experiences for them throughout their scouting adventure, in addition to an invaluable life skill.
This goes for our adult leaders as well!
Here are some area resources on swim lessons in Mercer County NJ. Although you can take instructional swim classes at Summer Camp, and work on your Swimming Merit badge, nothing will teach you better than proper swim lessons. These places have lessons for all levels of swimmers, including teens and adults and are available throughout the year.
